The stunning red wine basic is the contribution of dark color juicy grapes. The color of the wine ranges from deep purple to slight ruby color. The age-old red wine looks bright and sometimes even changes to dazzling brown color. It is distinct from other wines because of its tannin taste. Moreover, red wine is more favored for its various flavors like fruits, flowers, spices, herbs and even has an earthy taste.

You can get them at any reputable online wine store. There aren’t any added flavors as the aroma and different taste is characteristic of the varied grape kinds chosen to make the red wine. The process of red wine differs mainly from white wine in keeping the grape intact while fermenting.

    Making of red wine:

    • Harvesting of grapes: Black or dark purple color grapes are harvested. The red pigment of the grapes promotes the brilliant red color of the wine. The grapes are picked when they are fully ripe. It is because once picked the grapes won’t ripe and will be tart in taste. Over ripe grapes may lose its unique flavor and is flabby. Thus, it is quite essential for grape harvesters to note the exact time of ripeness of grapes.
    • Fermentation: In the winery yard, it is decided whether the harvested grapes need to be fermented in clusters or to be fermented with the stems or not. Many wine makers prefer to have the stem as it adds the tannin flavor and thus reduces the sourness of fermented grapes. Sulfur di oxide is sprayed to prevent bacterial influence while the fermentation process is on. Otherwise, the grapes will be fully spoiled. Yeast is the main ingredient to ferment the grapes as required by the wine manufacturers. Mostly commercial yeasts are used for making wine however sometimes natural yeast is used to make wine more aromatic.
    • To tune the wine during fermentation. The juice needs to be stirred often to dissolve the skin smoothly. It helps to enhance the color of the red wine and even aid in producing subtle wines.
    • Pressing of wine: In maximum twenty five days, the sugary content of the grapes changes into alcohol. Some high-class red wines do take more than fifty days to four years like Amarone and Vin Santo. The wine is filtered fully and then again the grape skin is pressed to gain more wine.
    • The second fermentation (Malolactic): That happens when the wine settles in the barrels. There the wine gets its creamy chocolaty lactic acid helped by small proportions of microbes feasting on it.
    • Aging of the wine: The storage vessels of the red wine vary and each of them acts differently with the wine giving them a distinct taste. The wine that lasts longer in the storage area acquires more chemical constituents. That is the reason why people order wine online to make sure that it is quite old.

The red wine that tastes smoother and nutty are classed as one of the best wines. The red wine online purchases are available with great offers, thus enjoy your red wine without burning your pocket.
